Four years ago, I found strength and hope in a Bible verse that brought me peace during the darkest time of my life. I was consumed by a heavy, overwhelming grief, yet this verse reminded me that God would never let me down and would always be there for me. Though I didn’t fully understand its theological meaning at the time, the words "settle," "flow," and "calm" brought me the peace I needed to face the future with hope, trusting that God had something better in store for me.

Six years ago, my life took an unexpected turn, as a relationship that I had placed my faith in fell apart. The marriage I thought would bring happiness left me feeling deceived and empty. I questioned all my choices, wondering where I had gone wrong, but over time, I realized that I had neglected God in my life. When the relationship ended, I was left with nothing—no home, no money, and no family

nearby to turn to. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, and taking even one step forward felt impossible. Yet, in the midst of my struggles, I began to feel God’s presence in my life, showing me His goodness in small and large ways.

Through God’s guidance, I reconnected with my spiritual sister, who had been my manager at my first job in Australia. She reminded me of God's great purpose for me, and through her, I found a sense of belonging in my church. Slowly, the heavy cloud that had hung over me began to lift, and I started to smile and engage with others again. As I drew closer to God, He embraced me with love and peace, transforming my pain into joy. I realized that my past no longer defined me, and God's love had given me a fresh start.

Today, I am living a life I never imagined. I am happily married to a wonderful man of God whom I met at church. We built our home together, and I now hold Australian citizenship—something I once thought impossible. God has blessed me with my dream job at a prestigious university, and He continues to guide me every step of the way. Through all the trials, God has proven that we don’t face life alone. He has overcome the world, and I am a testimony of His faithfulness. My journey is one of healing, transformation, and a renewed faith that God truly works all things together for good.
