In 2015, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 cancer shortly after the loss of my beloved mother. The news left my family and me devastated. I chose to share this difficult news only with my immediate family and a few close friends who would stand by me in faith and support me through the journey. What followed was a challenging path filled with countless tests, procedures, surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. My first surgery involved removing lymph nodes from my right side, followed by chemotherapy and another extensive surgery. Additionally, a port was inserted for chemotherapy treatments as my blood vessels had collapsed.
During this time, an elder from my local church came to visit me after hearing about my situation. She anointed me with oil, prayed for me, and introduced me to a godly preacher who had a powerful healing ministry. His teachings on the revelation of who we are in Christ and what we inherit as born-again believers deeply encouraged me. That night, I searched for his healing messages online, and as I listened to his teachings on Jesus as Jehovah Rapha, the greatest Physician, my faith was ignited. I came to understand that Jesus didn’t just die for my sins, but He also paid for my healing on the cross. This realization gave me peace, and I began to believe, by God’s grace, that I was already healed.
The healing scriptures I found and meditated on, such as Isaiah 53:4-5, strengthened my faith. I declared these words over my life daily, and my physical condition began to improve. Unlike others undergoing chemotherapy, I did not suffer the same intense side effects, and I could clearly see God’s hand at work in my recovery. I continued to listen to the preacher’s teachings, which revealed to me that it was Jesus’s faith that secured my healing, salvation, redemption, and sanctification. This revelation transformed my perspective and deepened my relationship with God.
Through faith, I witnessed my body heal and began to see the goodness of God transforming me. His power and grace were evident, and after several years in remission, I now testify to the faithfulness of God. He is indeed a good Father who can be trusted, and if He did it for me, He will do it for anyone who believes. His promises are always true, and I stand as living proof of His healing power. God has removed my sackcloth and clothed me in joy, and I can now rejoice in my well-being.
I am eternally grateful to my family for their unwavering support during my battle with cancer. Their encouragement and love were vital in helping me through the hardest days. Through this journey, I have learned that no matter the challenge, all things are possible to those who believe in God’s power. Our God is mighty and able to do exceedingly more than we could ever imagine. He has already provided everything we need through His grace, and it’s up to us to respond in faith and experience miracles in our lives.
Today, I stand as an ambassador of God’s healing power. I know that when sickness tries to knock on my door, I can resist it by declaring, "By His stripes, I am healed." I have been equipped with His Word, His authority, and His promises, and I choose to live a victorious life in Christ. Jesus is my Victor, and through Him, I can live a life of faith, victory, and healing.
