​Noeline Honter, is a multi- award winning Television Personality, Educationist, and Singer who is, to date, the recipient of perhaps, the highest number of awards presented to any single personality in the medium of television in Sri Lanka and as a leading singer in the country’s Western music industry
​

​In addition to her large number of awards, Noeline Honter recently received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the Rupavahini State Awards ceremony, presented by the Ministry of Culture and the Arts. In 2018 she was also honoured with the Special Award for her Outstanding Contribution throughout the History of Television in Sri Lanka, awarded by The Raigam Telees.
Noeline Honter has also been conferred with the much coveted state honours –  ‘Desha Bandu’, and ‘Kala Visharada’ for her outstanding contribution in her artistic fields. She has a Doctorate in Education Leadership, and is a Licentiate Holder of The Trinity College of London, a Gold Medalist of The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, and an Honorary Fellow and Examiner of The Institute of Examinations in English, Music and Speech.
She is the Chairperson of The Noeline Honter Academy of English, Media, and Music which, in addition to English Language training, offers specialised training programmes including Television Presentation, and Radio Broadcasting, in addition to Vocal coaching- a comprehensive programme for semi – professionals, and professionals in Singing and Stagecraft.
Noeline Honter came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour in 1998, and her life has never been the same since then. She has experienced a number of miracles in many areas of her life, including a miraculous healing when she was on life support, and virtually at death’s door. She continues her singing and TV career and is additionally much involved in Gospel Music. Her moving Gospel singing in a number of churches in Sri Lanka, and more recently in Australia, is an inspiration to many. She takes every opportunity to share her testimony of the love of the Lord Jesus Christ and His amazing miracle working power in her life.
